Can you access Android Market/Internet on a Prepaid phone without a Data Plan? - anonymous - 12-18-2012 07:27 PM Im going to get a At&t Fusion go phone prepaid. Its $25 for Unlimited Text, 250 mins, and no data plan. Im planning on getting this plan. The phone has WI-FI capability and im wondering if i have WI-FI then can i access all of these? Like Android market to download games and themes and Social Networks. - Kevin k - 12-18-2012 07:35 PM You can access the android market place on your phone but only via wifi connection.Smart phones always require data plans in order to work properly (stupid, I know). You're better off going with T-Mobile. It's $49.99 unlimited data talk and text and that's with a contract but they have a bunch of cheap prepaid smartphone options as well. |
