Can you access Android Market/Internet on a Prepaid phone without a Data Plan? - anonymous - 12-18-2012 07:27 PM

Im going to get a At&t Fusion go phone prepaid. Its $25 for Unlimited Text, 250 mins, and no data plan. Im planning on getting this plan. The phone has WI-FI capability and im wondering if i have WI-FI then can i access all of these? Like Android market to download games and themes and Social Networks.

You can access the android market place on your phone but only via wifi connection.Smart phones always require data plans in order to work properly (stupid, I know). You're better off going with T-Mobile. It's $49.99 unlimited data talk and text and that's with a contract but they have a bunch of cheap prepaid smartphone options as well.
