Possibly.
The only time your Q&A from Answers are shared by Yahoo! outside of Answers is when you have opted to share updates. These updates are set on your Y! Profile page and they appear on Messenger to your contacts there and also to Facebook and Twitter if you have linked the accounts.
(edit) Go to the links below. Also you can click the "My Activity" tab near the top of the page, then click on the "View your Yahoo! Profile" link just to the right of your avatar.
