Is a facebook themed party a dumb/corny idea? - greenmonster - 12-22-2012 11:22 PM

-The invitation would be on facebook of course.

-When people got there we would hand out foam fingers or something for "poke wars"

-There would be "event" signs telling people to do different stuff like "You are invited to play rockband RSVP attending not attending maybe attending" stuff like that.

-There would be a sign on the food that said "Chicken nuggets is now in a relationship with bbq sauce" or something.

-There would decorations on the walls like "my photos" where i would hang pics with me and my friends.

-Somewhere (maybe) i would incorporate top friends, (maybe like a game) flair, farmville, notifications, "likes" stuff like that.

-We would use facebook font throughout.
If you think this is a good idea.. let me know any ideas you would have for the party.

As a long-time Facebook user (and recovering "addict") myself, I don't see it as dumb.

After all, some fool made an entire feature length movie out of it called "The Social Network." I'm sure you've seen the trailers on T.V.

One thing's for sure--if I were one of your friends or family members, I would much rather attend your Facebook-themed party than go see a feature length movie (indirectly) ABOUT Mark Zuckerberg and Facebook.

Your party would definitely be more fun...

Just my $0.02...
