Twitter is great for getting traffic to your site you just have to get lots of followers. Squidoo is great for article marketing once you learn how to use it. If you are interested I found a few articles that will get you started getting traffic for free.

Nobody here understands marketing so far. SBS's , just like any other form of advertising has something called demographics. Each SBS has certian types of visitors. reddit.com has an average age of 24, mostly liberal, about 70% male and are in college. So anything directed or posted on this site would need to fall into what these people do to become successfull. It is a politically active group that loves smoking weed.

Hint: you want 15 k visitors in 24 hours, write a good article about legalizing marijuana, put an affiliate link to an online store that sells pot related crap and you will get loads traffic and possible sales

What I am getting at is that you have to target by that social groups habits. You do not put a rock guitar ad in a gardening magazine, would you?

Find the right crowd that is likely to like what you post and you increase the odds of success.
