if i close down for the night does the game im playing continue when i log back on to face book? or do i just lose the game?

You can't set a definite time limit on the games. They can go for days and weeks at a time. Logging on and off doesn't affect your games at all. If your opponent was expecting to finish that night, they might get mad, but they can't force you to lose that quickly.

After 24 hours of it being your turn, your opponent can "nudge" you, which sends you a notification reminding you that it's still your turn. If you get nudged 3 times (I think) then your opponent can start a force forfeit. Once your opponent does that, you have 24 hours to make a move before you lose that game.
