I just added an 10 yr ago ex to my facebook. shortly after he send me a condom application on facebook. I am new to face book so i don't know what it means. His profile shows he sends a lot different app to his friends (girls and guys) including me, i am the only that received a condom. What does that mean?

An application on facebook is just something to make facebook funner. They can be games or things like sending gifts.
He just sent it becasue it probably found the application funny.
