I have a question about sending tweets to someone on twitter? - greathat285 - 01-04-2013 10:34 PM

I am new to twitter, and I would like to know, If I send a tweet to someone, then outwards put a check mark inside of the box that says "Protect my Tweets," will the person that I sent the tweet messages to still be able to view the tweets that I have sent to them, or will I need to approve of them as being a friend first before they even receive my tweets? Your answers would be greatly appreciated.

Log into your twitter account. If you don't have one create one by clicking on their "sign up now" button. Creating an account is easy and can be done in five minutes.

2
Look to see who you would like to tweet at and remember their username.

3
Place an "@" symbol by holding down the "shift" key and hitting "@" on your keyboard, then type the name of the twitter account you want to tweet at. The "@" and the username must be connected. Examples: @cookiemonster

If your tweets are protected and they are NOT your friend, then NO, they will not be able to see the tweet.

You would need to add them in order to see your tweets (if they are protected).
