Well I know it says "Twitter does not charge for this service. Standard message and data rates may apply." But does it cost anything if you have AT&T's unlimited texting? Does it require Internet?

If you have unlimited texting, then you have nothing to worry about. No internet is required (:

Using Twitter is the same as going to any other web site. It is totally separate from texting. Using Twitter will count against your data plan.
