Has anybody else experienced an unfair or ridiculous twitter account suspension? How did you fix it? - anonymous - 01-07-2013 10:00 AM

I created a new twitter a few days ago, tweeted about 5 times on it, then logged in the next day to find that my account had been suspended. Not only that, the email that was supposed to be sent to my inbox regarding the details/reason behind my suspension was never sent. I tried contacting support to contest my suspension, but they've answered stating: "This account was suspended for sending multiple unsolicited messages using the @reply and/or mention feature," which, of course makes zero sense considering the newness of our twitter. And, to top it off, because they refuse to restore my account, there is no way for me to delete and make a new one, because my email is still associated with the old account. Anybody else experience this issue? It's extremely frustrating, how did you deal with this?

I got that too! I dont understand what they mean by this but yeah its stupid. I just replied to the email and told them that I would "cease all of the above behaviors" And i havent gotten it unsuspended yet but it should be activated soon.
