I want to send out some friend request - I know twitter will band you if you send too many - is Youtube the same way?

LOL no it just comes up with a red message, you have to wait about 30 minutes or so and then you can add so many more and then the message will come up again, a good way is if that happens send the user a comment they should reply back then you can add them when it allows you to, but if people have send you requests you can accept as many as you like.

only if you abuse your ability to do so by harassing some one with multiple requests
