I want to send longer messages to people on Twitter (Not Tweets just MESSAGES as in the part where you inbox people) it's really important I get it done.

Search on it on google, and then a website will come up, where you can do it.

There are many great applications you can use to send longer twitter messages. Some example include TwitLonger, Twonvert and TweetShrink. As is Twitter is meant to send short messages. I fyou are interested in sending longer messages or are thinking of starting a blog, the best way would be to use blogging platforms like WordPress, etc. that allow you to express more freely.
