I don't own an iphone, and I know that you are charged for text messages from your data plan. I want to use twitter on my computer, but I don't know if I will be charged for using it if I do.
Thanks. I thought you could tweet for free on your computer, and if you wanted to use it on your phone you had to pay. oh well.

It is free to use on your computer. Twitter is firstly a computer made software, that started with being a computer feature. And not for the iphone. And it is totally 100% free.

Twitter is free online but text messages do cost money. You can join for free the same way you can join Facebook. But Facebook has free text messaging.
