My friends told me that they can't retweet me so I looked up about reasons why so I took my profile of private and it's still not working so I don't know what else to do. HELP!

You probably forgot to verify your account via email when you first created it. Check back in your email inbox for an email from Twitter asking you to verify your account. Once verified, you should unlock all of the features on Twitter.
