No unless you share a computer with that person, they won't know.
If you do share a computer you can delete your history, then they wouldn't know.

No, they cannot, unless
1. They have a trojan/spyware in your computer
2. Keylogger in your computer
3. They've access to your google account (search history)
4. They've access to your computer (browser history)
5. YOU publish it out on fb/twitter/wherever!

no....until and unless u share your computer....my suggesion is dat u go in incognito by pressing shift+cntrl+n(google chrome) or shift+cntrl+p(in internet explorer)!
