Is it possible for my parents to see the apps that I a using on my phone? - Tim - 01-16-2013 09:35 AM

Our carrier is Verizon and I am just wondering if my parents can see the apps that I'm using on my phone..? Like, on the bill...is it possible for them to see what apps I've used to connect to the internet? If I were to use the Twitter app...could they somehow see on the bill that I used the internet to access the Twitter app specifically?

As long as the app doesn't cost money, they won't see anything

If you have an Android phone then every app you have installed and every app you ever installed even those that are now uninstalled or removed appear in a permanent list attached to the account your phone is registered to.

If you go to this page [1] and scroll down there is a section called your Library which lists every single app. There's no way to edit it or remove an app from it. So if you have an Android phone all your parents have to do is look at that.

With iPhone, if you launch iTunes and go to the iTunes store, you will see an option to view your account, there will be a list of every app you have downloaded there as well. Or Go to the App Store, click Updates then click Purchased Apps. Despite what others said if the app is free it still appears in the list here because all apps downloaded through the App store count as a purchase - the price is just 0.00

The Purchase history in iPhones was introduced with iOS version 4.3.3 onwards.
