MySpace survives by advertising. You would need to find a big company willing to advertise on your site. Unlikely.
I don't know where you got the idea that MySpace/Facebook make money simply by somebody visiting the site. The sole source of revenue for MySpace is the advertising that appears on home pages, login pages and profiles

if it's possible then i wonder if no one will make their own too. a possibility you could only post a link or register their profile or to create an account on your webpage by asking their credit card # to pay a little amount for the registration.
*if i am the visitor also, i dare won't open the site too (heck heck heck)

It is quite possible too.

Let us review what is the original Internet's intention. People surfer Internet are looking for Information not for your business. Why we change the way of thinking is because there were so many spammers abusing the Internet. we were mislead by those crooks.

Every body know about something care about something. Create an informative site, tell something that you know very well and has a passion on it.

It could be your working experience, a skill to handle certain machine or gadget, even your hobby could be considered as a knowledge.

Create a site and publish your expertise. This is what I always suggest my trainees "Make your knowledge sell", be an infopreneur.

After creation, promote your site and create a traffic momentum. This idea is similar to what the TVs were doing. They create programs, market them and selling ads were just a by product. In our case, we create high value content pages, and people were looking for these type of information, solution, answers for problems etc. Refresh and replenish your content from time to time, makes visitors feel interested to come back.

On your web pages, you can add adSense, affiliate program links, sell ads space etc all kind of money making models exist.

When visitors come to your space you are quite possible can earn few cents from here few cents from there.

Hope this information helps
