Retweeting on twitter? - Aristotle - 01-16-2013 09:38 AM

What does it mean when you retweet on Twitter and what are the reasons that people do it?

To retweet on Twitter is like sharing on Facebook. You're just taking someone else's status & kind of adding it to your page to share with those that follow you. People do it usually when they find something interesting, or worthy of being shared.

Retweeting is taking a twitter message someone else has posted, and rebroadcasting that same message to your followers

A retweet is someone else's Tweet that you chose to share with all of your followers. You can use there built-in retweet feature or you can manually retweet content by copying and pasting it into a new Tweet of your own.
