You should definitely get the ipod touch 5g. The mini is good but It's not worth it in my opinion. The Ipad mini isn't that mini. The front edges are way too small. If you hold it with one hand you can easily touch the screen by accident. If you compare the Mini to the Ipad 4. You can tell that screen size on the Ipad mini isn't that much smaller compare to Ipad 4. It's a lighter tablet but that doesn't mean it's better. The specs of a mini is downgraded from the Ipad 3. It's basically like the Ipad 2 but smaller. If you look at the screen resolution you can tell it's not true HD. Ipad mini has 1024-by-768 resolution at 163 pixels per inch (ppi). And it doesn't have Retina display which it ruins the display. If you compare the pictures quality on the Ipad 4 to the Ipad mini you can tell there's a huge difference. Also Ipad mini is just way too expensive. It's a lot better to just buy a Nexus 7 which it has better specs and more gb. Plus it's cheaper than Ipad mini around $130.,Which i think it's better value for your money. Even though the ipod touch 5g and the mini both use A5 processor, the ipod touch 5g at least have retina display and its much more portable. If you really like the Ipad mini then just go with the Ipad 4. It's much better for the money and experience. A stunning Retina display, and A6X processor and a higher ppi will blown your mind away.
