I have come to find out Facebook and Twitter are good ways to find out if my favorite celebritie of band is doing a free show or signing but was wondering if there are any other good ways to find out.

You should check on their website. And look at tour dates. or look at your nearest mall locations for celebrity appearences, look at their facebook/twitter/blog/what ever they have.

Their official website would have the most information. You can also check different websites for tour info which includes dates and prices.
