I am eligible for an upgrade, and I am thinking about getting a droid 3. My old phone could upload pics to Facebook but not videos. Can the droid 3 upload pics AND videos to Facebook?

Droid 3 is an android, so the answer is ofcourse.
A droid does everything.

Yes. Any android phone can upload stuff to Facebook, all you need to do is install the free Facebook app if it wasn't already included with the phone.
