What other related platform can I choose if Advertisement and first is my first two?
Another question:
1. For newspapers I mention above, is it name of the new papers I am talking about or the word newspapers? Same question for Television- to TV channels or just TV as a word.. and so on..

In platforms you should usually talk in general terms such as Newspapers, magazines, television (network, cable), internet. Then each of them can be broken down to include more specifics. Advertising can apply to all of them, as can public relations or written material.
Draw yourself a chart and simply think of all the avenues available to reach people... that is what social is.

How about Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, Social bookmarking sites like Stumble upon, etc.?
LinkedIn, Myspace, Google+, Pinterest and plenty more.
They are excellent social media platforms and have an extensive reach.
