What are some creative ways to advertise to 18-29 year old males? - Chris - 01-16-2013 10:36 AM

Already use Facebook, Twitter, and Craigslist.
I work for a respectable company so I don't think Porn sites are a good idea.
DSG Associates, Inc. is a market research company. We are hired by companies to find people to perform mystery shops. No it's not a scam. The hard part is that most males 18-29 are not interested in this at all. But our clients especially the auto insurance companies are expecting us to get 18-29 year old males to participate.

If you want to really push the envelope you could try shock marketing. Like what the Aqua Teen Hunger Force people did for their movie. Though I suppose that adds the risk of being labeled a domestic terrorist. Most companies that try to advertise to that demographic like Burger King, Old Spice and skittles like to use weired methods. Off the wall and bazaar seems to work well. TV commercials would probably be the best way to go if you have the budget. If not try chalk advertising, like having some one whos good at drawing leave eye catching displays made of chalk on the side walk. I wish I could give you better advice but Id need more information such as what your selling and to what exact type of people in this age group.

Tailor.
If your auto insurance companies want you to get more stuff, advertise on car sites and stuff. Try and make it funny, use bright colors to attract attention.
