Why do non single men who have a significant other post pictures of just themselves on the facebooks, twitter etc? and why do non single women with kids post their kids pictures instead of just their own pictures?...I love debates on why or why not people do this. I have a couple theories of my own but I want more theories other then the ones my family and friends have to offer.

Because he posts pictures of himself on facebook and is therefore gay.

Same reason why men don't wear their wedding rings. They hate to be reminded of the fact that someone is latched onto them.

Because people are individuals. It's to remind everyone that we are not ownership.
