Leave links to your twitter and ask for follows on other social networking systems. If you have a YouTube? Make a video asking for follows and leave a link to your twitter. A good thing to do Is follow random people, some of them will follow back. Tweet more, the more Tweets you have the more follows. RT people they may follow you for it. DM Celebs asking for follows, they may follow back if you do. Quote celebs, movies, lyrics and people may RT amd more people will notice it the more famous your Tweets and you will get. Think of funny hashtags to make your post wittier. Post some jokes.

Never buy those followers. Ever. They're simply bots who do nothing but spam and make your Twitter look messy.
My best advice is just to keep hash tagging, retweet, and maybe perhaps ask your friends to tweet you so that their followers can Follow you.

You basically log in with your twitter account, and you when you follow people on the site you get seeds which will help you get followers. Anyways its all explained on the site.
