Ex-Fla. Gov. Charlie Crist tweets he's 'proud and honoured to join the Democratic Party'
Former Florida Gov. Charlie Crist, who was elected the state's chief executive as a Republican and then ran unsuccessfully for the U.S. Senate as an independent, announced on Twitter on Friday night that he's switching to the Democratic Party.

obviously his values are only important until its about votes. a grown man does not switch parties just because all of a sudden he believes that big government will save the world.

We are happy to have him. After your party threw him under the bus because he dared to compliment Obama on an issue, I don't blame him. Christie is not too far behind. And actually it is quite bright on our side. Why don't you come into the light, all are welcome, all are welcome.
