How should I record this demo? - Jesse Rocha - 01-19-2013 04:19 PM

I have 11 songs complete, rock songs, my inspirations are Nirvana, Greenday, Led zeppelin and others...but as i was saying, im going to a studio to record them, should i record like 4 or 5 songs and give those songs to record labels? or should i record all 11 of them, i have a demo of one two of them on youtube, my Youtube username is Turbinman96, check the songs out if u like, there not even my best ones. Oh should i give the record label my best song? or no, thank you!
I have played at bars, ur the first person to tell me this, everyone else that obe talked to loved my music and what do u mean the chords need practice?

The musicianship is nowhere near a level that should even play dive bars. Not trying to hate on you, but honesty is valuable in the music industry..the musicianship is just not there son, though the drummer has promise. If I were you, I would play parties, and if the interest is there, market yourself via social media..record labels are dead, be your own. The drums sound OK, but the the chords need alotta practice. Take turns singing, open your minds and have fun too, but practice man, practice...play parties, even if u have to provide the party.
