I'm not musicallyl talented at all, but a few of my reallly good friends have an indie rock band. They're really talented and I'm trying to think of some unique/effective ways that i could help with marketing related stuff/ promoting them, or maybe even help move them towads getting signed...
Do any of you have any ideas? Thanks a lot for your help

Contact venues, show promoters etc.. and plug them big time
Sell their merch at shows
Build them a website manage a facebook/Myspace page for them
Be a spokesperson for them, bands tend not to be good at this!!

Wow how cool!
Build a website for them, put videos on YouTube, advertise with flyers etc.. Maybe they could do something for charity?

Burn their music onto CDs and hand them out for free at concerts or the mall. Put contact info on the cd to like an e-mail.

when they get on their feet don't download their music illegally...i'm serious, help them by buying their songs. keep indie rock alive....
