1) Record a video of you singing a cover to a hit song
2) Post it on YouTube
3) Share the link on a social media site like Facebook,Twitter, etc.
4) Tell people on Yahoo! Answers to like it
5) Wait for the likes to roll in!
Most likely after a certain number of likes people will start talking about you A LOT! BTW, I recommend posting more than one video, and maybe even writing your own songs! Maybe one day you can be like Justin Bieber!

be original, put your own spins to popular songs and try to be the first to do a cover of a popular song. also come up with your own identity that is marketable to a broad audience because that's what record companies look for. if you can write that's even better its way easier to make it when you are also a talented writer.
