What to send Globe to activate API twitter? - nutellafella - 01-20-2013 02:07 AM

I heard that you can update your twitter through API. So, I wanna know what to send to my service provider which is Globe to activate it or register.

Yes you can update twitter through APIs, but not the way you are thinking. The Twitter API it's self is reserved for program developers and you have to apply for one. People like Tweetdeck and twitterfeed have a Twitter API. Then there are sites like bit.ly (the url shortenter) - They will give you an API, then you plug that key into Tweetdeck or twitterfeed, in turn that program wil update your Twitter.

Not sure what Globe has to offer or what you are trying to accomplish in the long run, but you can get an API from ping.fm -- this is another free program that automatically updates your Twitter. Then again, there are oddles of tools that will let you post to Twitter from a blog on your site.

Maybe that is what you are referring to
