Malware bytes turned my screen black? - something - 01-20-2013 09:55 AM

One friend sent me a facebook link on twitter and turns out it was spam. I freaked out and downloaded a program called "Malware bytes" and let it scan for spyware or viruses. After it scanned my computer it found 3 spywares and I deleted them, in order to finish the operation it asked me to reboot my laptop and I cliked yes. It rebooted normally but when I clicked to log into my account the screen turned black and nothing happened. I tried rebooting it like 10 times and nothing happens, the black screen is always there. I went to safe mode and deleted the "malware bytes" program but it didn't work out and I don't know what to do. I have extremelly important data there, works for school (due to this week) and like a million of other archives. Help please! Oh and btw my computer is a sony vaio.

Don't worry. Try these-
1. Leve ur pc for a few hours and check. This seems a dumb process but it sometimes may help.
2. Reinstall Windows from the installation disk or from somewhere u use to. This will certainly solve the issue.
Don't worry about ur precious data. U will get back ur every files, just Don't delete/format any partition during Windows installation. U will not get back ur files saved on C drive(or the drive u have OS installed on). So go to safe mode and move important files from C to other drive if any. I have installed Windows 10-15 times and everytime I get back my files.
U can also use data recover softwares(u don't need if don't make mistakes) like-
1. Stellar Phoenix data recovery software
2. EaseUs Data Recovery Wizard.
Ease us can recover data not only after permanent deletion also even after Format/Reformatting.
Hope this note helps.

Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware is an excellent product, so it's difficult to determine what's happened here. Are you saying you can reach your desktop if you boot into Safe Mode?

When you boot normally, do you reach a completely black screen with no icons and no flashing cursor?
