I want to get either a Kindle Fire HD or a Nexus 7. ill be using it mainly for internet eg facebook & shopping, playing games and reading a few books but i havent a clue as what to get iv read about different app stores and things but im just not sure so ANY help or personal choices would be greatly appreciated many thanks
forgot to say and for skype also

Nexus 7 plain and simple. The Kindle Fire can only download limited apps on the Android Market, while the Nexus 7 runs an unmodified version of android, therefore can support mostly every app. And if you still want to read your Kindle books you can just download the Kindle app for Android on your Nexus 7.

Both would work great for skype, facebook, gaming, shopping etc.
Kindle Fire HD has an edge for movie and youtube lovers as it has Dual wifi antenna for faster video streaming and downloading, Digital dolby audio for best quality even through speakers and Xray for movies.
While Nexus 7 is more of a power tablet with a quad core processor and lot more apps (You can sideload apps on Kindle Fire HD from google play store btw)
