you can consider freelancer.com or elance.com etc which offer secured payment. They collect money from employer when you accept to do some work. After completion of work as per specifications, money will be released to you.

An alternative option is swagbucks.com you earn points which then are turned in for merchandise or gift cards to amazon & other retailers. To earn points you simply log in, do searches (random point wins), surveys, watch videos, swagcode finds etc... Once you get enough points turn them in for whatever you want. If you opt for a gift card then you can use the gift card online to buy whatever you want.

There are many ways to earn money online.
At first you have to decide what work you like to do online.
Online marketing job like like email corresponding for other's product or service you may find at freelancer or lot of companies you may find through search in Google.
If you are able to setup your own site you can work as a "linkworker" also.
To work as an affiliate marketer ClickBank, Amazon, CJ, SFI are best.
