I follow 'sparkunlimited' on twitter. They are a game developer and someone asked them this question:
"will the game have an original score to it? If so, do you have an idea of who will be doing it"
Their answer was:
"yes, there will be original music in the game."
MY QUESTION IS: WHAT IS MEANT BY THE TERM 'ORIGINAL MUSIC'? DOES THIS MEAN THEY WILL USE MUSIC ALREADY RELEASED? OR WRITING NEW MUSIC??? THANKS FOR ANY HELP!!

It means they will be writing music specifically for the game.
