when i write a direct message can everyone read it or only the person i send it to ??????
also can u send a direct message to someone who your following

direct message,
to who ever you sent it to or want to send it to,
the message ONLY GOES DIRECTLY TO THE PERSON YOU SENT IT TO.
no one but that person will see it or read it, unless someone goes on there account and reads it.
but only the person your send a direct message to can only read it.

If by direct message you mean, private inbox messages, then only the person you're sending it to can see and read it.
If you mean by addressing them with the @ symbol in their public status, then everyone will be able to read it.
