Yes you can. I have full access to the internet, as well as Facebook, Twitter, and all social networks. I can shop on Amazon, Ebay, as well as other sites. All news, sports, tech, and blog sites are available. You can also use the built in camera for Skype.

Youtube, Pandora, Vimeo, and other media sites work very well, as well as Yahoo Answers!

Sure you can, and it's pretty good on that as well. The Kindle Fire HD has dual-band dual antenna WiFi, making the wireless connection more stable. There's a good user experience on surfing on the Kindle Fire in the article here:

connect kindle to the free wifi function, then you can browse internet on kindle tablet just like a small computer.
