Number words? on Facebook? - Tiffany - 01-22-2013 06:55 PM I feel kinda stupid asking this question...but I really want to know what it means. So on facebook some of my friends are posting status updates like this: Just got done doing running in the rain & having a marshmellow/ orange/ water bottle fight. #makingmemorize.♥ What does this mean: "#makingmemorize." is it the way she is feeling? or what? Another Example: Got in trouble for laugh dying the move so we took a trip to Mrs.Dyers room to do some stuff. Then walked in the poring rain to computers⤠#goodday#lovethisgirl.♥ So sometimes there are multiple "#forexample" or just one. I just don't get it! what is this??? - ☻ - 01-22-2013 07:03 PM It's a hashtag. Basically means what it says. - Thomas - 01-22-2013 07:03 PM Thats called hashtagging. its completely useless on facebook. thats done on twitter to show common interest. - abraXus - 01-22-2013 07:03 PM it means they have their facebook account and twitter account synced - and they post using twitter, using the # as a category identifier, which then carries over to facebook, because of the sync the # doesnt actually do anything on facebook tho |
