One way to get Twitter followers it to look for people who share your interests and follow them. Some will follow back. Twitter accounts for clubs, organizations, newspapers and other businesses in your city will often follow back.
You can also find websites that have lists of people who, if you follow them, they will always follow back.
Lots of websites will sell followers. Many times these followers are fake accounts or they follow you for a day or two and then drop you. There are a few websites that allow you to get new Twitter followers for free. Socialscube.com, Twiends.com and Traffup.com have paid and free subscriptions.
