How to get access to Facebook in China? - purringcar544 - 01-23-2013 04:01 PM

Does anybody help me to get access to sites, such as, Facebook, twitter, and so on. Our government has blocked those overseas websites. Please tell me some proxy and software that are free and have stable operation speed. Thanks a million.

ONE WORD WOW haven't you heard of maxthon it bypasses blocked sites or you can pay 60 bucks if you are an outsider.

if you can go to wikipedia and type in maxthon, no need for hackings skills. This customized Internet Explorer to his needs and boom.

This is what my coworkers tell me who work in China for our company. Proxies and free stuff get blocked all the time. The prevailing logic is that if a proxy is working then it's condoned by the government and is likely a trap. Today's' news that the Chinese government was hacking Google Mail out of China further shows the lengths the government there will go to.

Our company requires that workers use a company VPN to do anything while in China. This to prevent the government from snooping. When off work these people use a personal VPN service http://www.surfbouncer.com/unblock_china.htm to unblock all the web sites and make sure the government has no idea what they are doing. I would suggest this same solution to anyone living there.
