How do people on Twitter find you so quickly? - Questioner - 10-11-2012 08:55 PM
I just created an account on Twitter, and I started following a few of my favorite bands. Then, not a mere hour later, I already had 2 bands following me. They were unknown bands, not-yet-famous types. I thought it was spam, but when I listened to their music, it was amazing. So I looked to see how many people they recruited, and it was only around 800 people that they were following. My question is, how did they find me so fast?

They get your twitter addy from the people they follow which in your case would be the bands you follow.

People like that look for anybody that they can find, follow them, and pretty much try advertise themselves so they can be rich, successful , etc.
