I have a facebook account and i haven't tried myspace& twitter.
Can anyone please tell me what's the general benefits of using them?

They're just fun to use and chat to people. I heard twitter was really popular, but when I signed up I thought it was the most useless thing I have ever used, it's rubbish and I never go on it, the profile design is just completely empty. Facebook and myspace are okay though.

Myspace: Find and keep in touch with your friends especially your friends which is far away and you can customize your page. Also it's a good place if you are well known such an Artist, Band, etc.
Twitter: To keep you up-to-date with any activities / news/ etc from people that you are following and keep your followers up-to-date with everything you want to share with them.
Facebook: i dont really like it.. but yeah i sue it like myspace.. to keep in touch with my old friends (overseas)

You can't compare Twitter with Myspace / Facebook / Freindster or anything you name it.
Twitter is MicroBlogging. To keep you updated with all the News you want to know. (This is your first time hear the word'MicroBlogging)
Like me.. on Twitter I'm following Chris Pirillo and NBC News to keep updated with Internet, Technology, and Local News.
People who doesn't know Twitter will INSULT like that. They act like they know anything about Twitter but actually they don't know....
So.. who is the RUBBISH???

these sites are a social networking... you can mingle to every persons on this sites as long as you wanted to, only for just in a virtual way
