connect your twitter account and apply the post on facebook option. that way your friends on facebook knows your twitter name and etc.

1.Make your tweets interesting: For example, if you were to tweet- I am having a coffee is not really interesting and can get lost by the people you follow if they are following thousands of users.
2. Have a good bio
3. Interact with organisations/people you are following
4. Make your profile public- people are more likely to follow someone they can instantly interact with. Compared to waiting on you accepting their follower request if it was a private account.

And if you have a Facebook Connect your Twitter Account to your Facebook Account So All your Friends Know that you have a Twitter Account
