Where can I buy organic meats online or in the Tampa, FL area? - Doris - 01-25-2013 10:31 PM

I am trying to switch to organic grass fed meats. From what I have read I should avoid supermarkets. I would like to find a low cost organic market online or some local markets around the Tampa area.

We've ordered organic grass fed of eight 12 oz ribeyes twice now and they have been excellent. Great flavor! Grass-fed beef is a bit leaner than grain-fed, feedlot beef so you need to be care not to overcook them. I do them on the grill with indirect heat for the most part, with a sear at the beginning (or end) just for nice grill marks. I add mesquite chips for a nice smoke flavor. Excellent product and prompt shipping. The steaks arrive at your door frozen hard. I cannot recommend this product more!

Ironic that you ask this because I'm promoting an event for my hairstylist (Stacy at Stasia's Organic Element), and it has information on this company called BEYOND ORGANIC. They send everything to your door, and the food is TRUE ORGANIC, not this stuff at Whole Foods that has lots of "unorganic" elements in their food. Anywho, she's hosting an event for Beyond Organic that will be informational and helpful to you. Here's the event: http://www.facebook.com/stasiasorganic or email her at info@stasiasorganic.com. Additionally, you can get meat at Publix (they have a GREENWISE Publix in Tampa near Armenia), Rollin' Oats, Village Health Market, and Whole Foods. I believe there's a smaller market near Bayshore and Ballast Pointe too. Smile Let me know if you have any questions! Smile
