I just made a twitter account and i'm really not sure what twitter is, can anyone give me a bit of a walk through on what you do on twitter?

Well the obvious thing you can do is TWEET!
also you can follow and interact with friends and celebrities and randomers.
you can RETWEET tweets that you like and that you want to share with your followers.
you can favourite tweets that you like.
you can direct message people.
Twitter might seem abit crap at first if you dont have much followers, but it gets better when you get more and more... what's your twitter name? I'll follow you =]

In a nutshell, if you have Facebook, this is like status updates.
You have 140 charaters.
Instead of friends, you have followers. Also you can 'follow' your friends, companies, celebrities or any organization to find out what they are up to or their latest news.
