i never heard of the website until i saw it on miley cyrus twitter tweets and i clicked on the link and it says i can only look at if if i sign u through email or twitter of Facebook.so is it free?

To answer your question: Yup, Pheed is free!
It doesn't cost a thing to sign up or subscribe to free channels, such as Miley's. You can sign up for using your Twitter/Facebook account, or with your email address.
Pheed does give users the option to set monthly (30 day) subscription fees on their channels and/or pay-per view live broadcasts - but again, this is just an option.
