I cannot use twitter or facebook I have practically no friends.

I have no idea. I'm in the same situation as you.
What I do is I read other people's stories and give them feedback. If you find a nice person usually they will read your story too. Some people are just plain rude but I'm sure if you get your name out there a bit, your time in the spotlight will come. This is the hope I'm holding on to, anyway.
