Well probably the ones that specifically look for your tweets would notice that you've changed it, or just wonder why you've been quiet for so long and not make the connection that you are now under a different name. If you want them to be aware of the change, just make a tweet a day for a couple days saying "by the way this is still xxxxxxx, just under a different name now" or something along those lines, just to make sure all 600 of those guys get the message.
