I'm with my best friend right now who's crying her eyes out because earlier this year she really wanted this boys attention over twitter and she was too insecure to be herself... Anyway, she knew this really pretty girl on Facebook so she used her name and photos.. basically pretending to be her although no abuse of her name, making her out to be a bad person or any type of bullying was done towards the girl and her name. Long story short, the girl she was pretending to be found out. My friend deleted the account and all her photos off the Internet although the girl hasn't found out it was my friend. She's absolutely freaking out and can't bare to tell anyone so that's why I'm asking.. Can she get arrested for this if they find out its her? I understand how stupid and pathetic this sounds but she's my best friend and I want to help her calm down. Thanks.
I never knew about this situation till about 2 hours ago when she rang and told me, then came over and explained. Trust me if I knew I would never have let her do something this stupid.

i don't think she will get arrested as long as the other girl won't pursue charges.
Next time, don't take someone else's identity. If she is insecure she needs to work on her self-esteem. How do you think someone is going to like you for you, if you pretend to be someone else.
As a friend you should have encouraged her to not do that. That was stupid.
Don't ever do something like that.

Tell her not to wrong lol, she can't get arrested and it is most likely the girl in the photos won't find out unless someone tells her there's a fake profile. Remember in the internet once you upload a photo,video etc it is out there and there's many many people who create fake profiles so your friend is just one in a millon. but dont do it again tell her thats just phony

THIS ISN'T ILLEGAL ALL WHAT WILL HAPPEN IS THAT THOSE IMAGES MAY END UP ON A PRON SITE
