I only have like one or two followers, I'm not famous or anything like that & it's really hard to get more..
Suggestions?

Twitter has become a big hit. If you signed up for Twitter today, you'd likely not have more than a couple. just signup http://www.socialhits.org and add your twitter url. Surely you'll get more followers

Try to follow lots of people with similar interests! For example, I follow people who have similar music tastes to me. Once you've followed a lot of people, there's no doubt you'll be followed back by some. Make sure you list your interests in your bio so people know if they have stuff in common with you
Tweet quite often, so that people will see you in your timeline.
Also, don't put stuff like "I follow back!" or "five rt's for five rt's!" because this is just desperately trying to get follows, favourites, retweets and stuff, and it'll make you look pretty darn lame.
Slightly addicted to Twitter now, but I have around 670 followers ^_^

try youlikehits, addmefast, socialclerks. All this site let you earn credit and spend to get more followers
