So I made a twitter account along time ago and I forgot my username! How do I sign in or get twitter to send me an email with my username?

You can just login with your e-mail address instead of your username

Can't you do the thing that says "Forgot your username?"
If that doesn't work, try contacting them through email.
And I thought you could sign in with your email?
