Someone posting nudes of me on Twitter. What can I do? - dude - 10-11-2012 11:29 PM

I need help. There is this account on Twitter who keeps tweeting nude photos of myself & sending it my friends online. I have NO idea who this person is but he seems to have a great dislike of me, since he's mainly focusing on me. I don't know how he acquired the naked photos but I'm at a point now where I've had enough harassment from him. This kind of thing can ruin my life. I need to know what I can do to stop him. I'm not talking about just blocking him & going on with my life, I mean I really want him to STOP. I've emailed Twitter but they just suggest to block.

I'm more than willing to get the law involved.

P.S. They were taken two years ago. I know in a way it's my fault but to have someone send it to my friends is ****** up.

you brought it upon yourself. if you are (were) underaged, its considered child pornography and therefore is illegal

Notify your parents and call the police. If you were a minor (under 18) when you took those photos he will be charged for child pornography.
Here is a great site for your questions and click on the state you live in for accurate consequences, etc

It depends on the laws of the state/area/country in which you live. If you were under age at the time of the photos (two years ago), then the person who has the photos could be charged with "possession of child pornography".

Since you make no statement about these photos being made without your consent/knowledge (ie. peeping-tom), I'm guessing that you clearly knew you were being photographed and by whom you were being photographed.

If you: 1) took the photos yourself (and you were underage at the time) and, 2) sent the photos to someone else, and 3) that someone else in return sent them to your harasser... then all of you can be charged with a crime. **NOTE: This is via Georgia State Law - USA - that I'm referencing**

1) The person who took the photos (considering you didn't take them yourself) and sent them to your harasser could be charged with: A) Manufacturing of child Porn, B) Possession of Child Porn, and C) Distribution of Child Porn... beacuse he/she made, kept, and sent out the photos of you.

2) Your Harasser could be charged with: A) Possession of Child Porn, and B) Distribution of Child Porn... because he/she kept and sent out the photos of you.

3) You yourself (if that is, you took the photos yourself) could be charged with: A) Manufacturing of Child Porn, and B) Distribution of Child Porn... becuse you made and sent out the photos of yourself.
